1. About This Program

SalonIQ is a technology platform that enables salons and beauty businesses ("Salon Partners") to communicate with their clients via SMS. SalonIQ sends messages on behalf of Salon Partners — it is not an independent sender. The Salon Partner you have a relationship with is the business sponsoring each message you receive.

When you receive a text from your salon, that message is powered by SalonIQ acting as the messaging infrastructure on behalf of your Salon Partner. Your opt-in applies to that specific salon only — not to other businesses using the SalonIQ platform.

Through SalonIQ, your Salon Partner may send you SMS messages regarding:

Consent to receive marketing SMS messages is always optional and is never required to book an appointment or use salon services.

By replying YES, you agree to receive recurring automated SMS messages sent by SalonIQ on behalf of that Salon Partner at the number provided. Consent applies to that specific Salon Partner only.

Consent is never a condition of service. You may book appointments and receive transactional messages (verification codes, booking confirmations) without opting in to marketing messages.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity and the campaigns your Salon Partner chooses to run. You may receive up to 4–8 messages per month during active campaign periods. Appointment reminders are typically sent 24–48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

5. Costs & Carrier Charges

SalonIQ and your Salon Partner do not charge for SMS messages. However, standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for details on your messaging plan.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of marketing SMS messages at any time:

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further marketing messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Opting out does not affect your ability to book appointments or receive transactional messages such as booking confirmations and identity verification codes.

8. Supported Carriers

The SalonIQ messaging service is available on all major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and regional carriers. Carrier support may vary.

9. No Liability for Delivery

SalonIQ and Salon Partners are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues, network outages, or incorrect phone numbers provided by the client.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Neither SalonIQ nor your Salon Partner will sell or share your phone number with third-party marketers.

11. Salon Partner Responsibility

Each Salon Partner using SalonIQ is independently responsible for obtaining proper consent from their clients before initiating any SMS campaign. SalonIQ requires all Salon Partners to comply with applicable messaging laws, including the TCPA and carrier guidelines, as a condition of using the platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

SalonIQ reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
